What we do

We provide the knowledge, skills, and support to overcome real and perceived barriers—so youth and adults can build safer, more prosperous lives.

Hands-on exposure to science, technology, engineering, and math so Black students can access high-paying tech careers.

NSDI – National Security Development Institute

NSDI is our free 8-week cybersecurity and violence prevention training program for young adults ages 18–24 in Chicago. Participants build real tech skills, receive mentoring, and get support with job readiness—plus a completion incentive.

Gordies Foundation was born from tragedy and healing. For over 20 years we've worked to end intentional and perpetual violence, poverty, and unemployment in the Black community through education, technology, training, spiritual growth, and career development.
